Eden Tourism Incorporated, incorporating Eden Visitor Information Centre and Cruise Eden is made up of a large team of Volunteers and Staff, who provide visitor Information, tourism promotion and support to the cruise industry.

Volunteer roles

Volunteering with the Eden Visitor Information Centre, Cruise Eden or the Eden Tourism Inc. Board is a fantastic way to get involved in your local community, meet new people, and share your passion for our beautiful coastal town. As a volunteer, you’ll play a key role in welcoming visitors, providing helpful information, and promoting all the incredible things Eden has to offer—from whale watching and fishing to bushwalking and local history.

It’s a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact, support local tourism, and showcase the natural beauty and unique charm of Eden and the Sapphire Coast. Whether you have a few hours a week, on the odd cruise day or more, your contribution makes a real difference!

Year round we need help:

– Manning our information counter

– Greeting and chatting to visitors

– Sharing tips on things to see and do

– Assisting visitors with souvenir purchases

On cruise ship days we need help:

– Welcoming cruise passengers

– Providing directions and information on attractions

– Delivering commentary on town shuttle buses

Work experience

The Eden Visitor Information Centre and Cruise Eden both support local schools through the provision of work experience placements.
