Whale Watching Eden
Eden is one of the few places in the world that Humpback Whales feed on their southern migration in spring. Due to the meeting of currents from the north and south, the waters in and around Twofold Bay are rich with nutrients, encouraging many species of whale and dolphin to stop and feed through spring.
Twofold Bay’s calm waters and open ocean access give you a unique experience of seeing these massive giants up close. We also have a large amount of attractions related to whales past and present. See our Whale Adventure page to see the best way to plan your Eden whale experience.
Whale watching cruises operate from late September through to late November. Check here for discounts on tours and accommodation this whale season.
There are also several key vantage points to watch the action from land, and the Eden Killer Whale Museum sounds a siren when whales aresight of these places.
