Put the Eden Whale Festival on your to-do list!

Planning for the 2018 festival has started already with festivities over the weekend of 2nd November to 4th November.

The Street Parade will kick off the Saturday, then entertainment, food, music and much more during the day ending the evening with fireworks.   Sunday’s Show N Shine by over 50 Hot Rods, exhibitions and more.   Start planning  now.   See the Eden Whale Festival website for all the details as the events become confirmed.

There will be the exhibitions and competitions.   Woodworking, photography, recycle/repurpose competitions – so start to plan and make your entries.

Exhibitions of all the competition entries will be held at the Eden Fishermen’s Club over the weekend.    2017’s Photography competition was the theme of Faces and Places of Eden and the Street Parade Theme was By the Sea, so keep an eye on the festivals website to see details as they become available.   Forestry Corporation of NSW will once again sponsored the Woodworking competition and it is expected to draw in more beautiful examples of woodwork pieces.   Don’t throw it out  –  Turn your trash into something worthwhile and enter it into the Repurpose It Challenge competition for some great prizes.   Call into the visitors centre for more details and keep checking the festivals website and facebook page for updates.
