| BEGA VALLEY RALLY The Bega Valley Rally is a round of both the NSW and Victorian State Rally Championships. It features the best of the exciting modern 4WD rally cars as well as some of the classic rally cars from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The event starts at the picturesque Snug Wharf in Eden with competitive stages in the forests to the west and south of Eden using some of the very best roads for rallying in Australia. The many competing crews, support crews, spectators and officials travel from all over south east Australia (and beyond) to congregate in Eden over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, culminating with the Awards Presentation at the Eden Fisherman's Club on the Sunday night. The Sapphire Coast is an ideal location to get away over the long weekend and enjoy the exciting sights and sounds of the very best rally action in the country. Southern Mountains RallyDates TBA The event will run as a traditional "moving" rally primarily for 2WD Historic and Classic rally cars travelling to Bombala with approximately 350 competitive kilometres. The event will be run in a very similar format to the Alpine Rally including adoption of the HRA Historic vehicle eligibility and classes. As a guide the event will run over two days with 3 divisions, competitive distances approximately 180 kilometres, 85 kilometres and 85 kilometres respectively. Both Division 1 and 3 will be run in full daylight. The event will start on Saturday around 10.00am and conclude division 2 by 00:00. An early re-start on Sunday will see the rally finish by lunchtime to allow return travel home Sunday evening. This region is arguably known as Australia's Rallying Heaven! It is one of the most densely populated areas for available forestry rally roads in Australia boasting some of the best surfaces available in many varying terrains. Conditions are easy on the vehicles while maintaining a challenge for crews, ideal for HRA and AMSAG Historic and Classic cars. Dates: TBA
